The studio was invited to participate at Designeast 03. A design Festival held in Osaka, Japan in September 2012. Visitors purchased the paper plans and the material to build the designs on the site ond only using hand tools.
Each member of the Okay Studio participating did one piece, following the previous one’s top surface as a footprint for his piece. From base to top, designs from Mathias Hahn, Tomás Alonso, Hiroko Shiratori, Andrew Haythornthwaite, Shai Akram, myself and Peter Marigold.
I was given a 300mm diameter circle and did a set of stools of geometrical shapes circumscribed from this circle.
