Studio
Jordi Canudas started up his studio in 2007 in London, after graduating from the Royal College of Art with a MA degree in Design Products. He is a member of London based collective ‘OKAY Studio’ and moved to Barcelona in 2011 where the studio is currently based.
Jordi’s practice develops from a conceptual base onto prototyping and testing with a direct approach to materials. Working in a wide range of fields from product design, product development, art direction, interiors and one-off production.
Jordi Canudas’ work has been exhibited internationally and can be found within the MoMA collection in New York and the design museum Die Neue Sammlung in Munich. His work has been featured in many major design publications and newspapers worldwide, such as Wallpaper, BluePrint, I.D. magazine, Salon Magazine and other international press.
In 2018 the Dipping Light project brought the studio Best of Year award from Interior Design magazine, Metropolis Likes and the Wallpaper* Design Award.
Jordi is currently teaching at Escola Superior de Disseny Elisava, IED in Barcelona and in HEAD Gêneve.
