For this project we developed an almost performatic piece in which the Delta sign that represents the awards was physically produced, divided into single trophies and shared among the winners during the ceremony held in Barcelona.

Random three-dimensional cuts through the deepness of the symbol create a compact internal structure that closes itself. This generates several internal angled faces on each piece making every trophy a unique item, which is only a part of the symbol. This represents collective nature of design work and its recognition. 

The trophies were made of cedar wood and CNC carved to achieve its complex geometry due to a collaboration with Centre Cim. Each trophy was then engraved by JM gravadors to differentiate the gold, silver and public awards and finished by hand in our studio.
