Young Guns are one of the most prestigious awards for young creatives from different fields. For its 17th edition, Hey Studio was doing the communication for the awards and commissioned us to design the trophies under the concept of Light. "Light is the natural agent that stimulates sight and makes things visible through colour". The trophies for these awards have always been in the shape of a cube (now 3x3x3 inches)

Under that brief, we started experimenting and taking the graphics there were developing as a catalyst, we focused on the idea of using transparency in order to get light into the cube and dye it with primary colors so the so the light could blend them into an infinite range of colours.
